A useful decision trace does more than state the final outcome. It ties the outcome back to the contract in force, the reason code set, the constraint posture, and the review path so reviewers can understand how a governed decision was reached.

• traceId: unique decision-event identifier
• contractId and contractVersion: the governed contract in force
• policyPackVersion: the logic package used at runtime
• decision and reasonCode: the governed outcome and its explanation
